Couples Massage: A Quiet Date Night That Works

Couples Massage: A Quiet Date Night That Works

Date nights usually mean dinner and a movie. We offer a quieter alternative — a 60-minute couples massage, side by side, in the same private room. Same per-person rate as a regular session.

Why couples massage works as a date

You spend an hour together in the same calm space, but you do not have to make conversation the whole time. Most couples talk for the first few minutes, then quietly let the session take over. By the end, both of you feel reset — and you still have the rest of the evening for dinner.

What "side by side" means

Two tables, two therapists, one shared private room. Each person picks their own service (Swedish, deep tissue, combination, etc.) and their own pressure preference. The two sessions start together and end together.

Pricing

Same per-person rate as any regular session — $80 per person for a 60-minute session. No upcharge for booking together. No "couples package" pricing. The bill is exactly what two regular sessions would be.

Best occasions for it

Anniversaries. Birthdays. The week before or after a big life event. Out-of-town family or close friends visiting. Or just a Tuesday evening when you both want to disconnect from work. Many of our couples regulars come in monthly.

How to book

Walk in together any day, Mon-Sat 9AM – 9PM · Sun 10AM – 6PM. Tell the front desk "two people, 60 minutes" and what each of you wants. If you want to make sure a couples room is free, call us at 435-850-4772 first.

It is not flashy. It is not Instagram-worthy. But for a quiet hour together, it works.

Where it fits in a St George evening

A couples session pairs naturally with the rest of a St George night out. Some couples come before dinner downtown on Main Street; others make it the calm part of an evening around a show at Tuacahn out in Ivins. It is a quieter alternative to the usual dinner-and-a-movie default, and it does not eat the whole evening — an hour here still leaves the rest of the night open.

It is also one of the easiest things to do with out-of-town visitors. Family or friends in town for Zion or Snow Canyon often want one slow hour between the driving and the hiking, and a side-by-side session is an easy plan everyone agrees on.

What to tell the front desk

Keep it simple: 'two people, 60 minutes,' then what each person wants — Swedish, deep tissue, or a combination — and each person's pressure preference. The two sessions start together and finish together in the same private room, so you are never waiting on each other.

Doing it together for the first time

If neither of you has done a side-by-side session before, the first few minutes feel slightly novel and then stop mattering entirely. Most couples trade a couple of quiet comments at the start and then let the room go silent — there is no expectation to keep a conversation going, and the therapists work independently so neither of you has to coordinate anything. The two sessions are timed to end together, so you are not lying there waiting while the other finishes.

Afterward most couples are relaxed rather than chatty, which is why it pairs so well with a low-key dinner on Main Street rather than a loud night out. If it is a special occasion, that combination — a quiet hour here, then somewhere calm to eat downtown — is the whole evening, and it takes about as much planning as a phone call.

Pulling it off on a normal weekday

It does not have to be a big occasion. Plenty of our couples come in on an ordinary weekday evening, split the hour while the kids are at practice or before a quiet dinner, and treat it as maintenance rather than a special event. Because the rate is simply two regular sessions with no package math, it is easy to make it a standing monthly thing instead of a once-a-year splurge.

If you want it to be effortless, call 435-850-4772 on the way and ask whether the shared room is open — that one step removes the only real uncertainty. Everything else is the same as a normal visit: walk in, tell the front desk what each of you wants, and you both leave reset at the same time.

Frequently asked questions

Is couples massage more expensive than a regular session?

No. It is the same per-person rate — $80 per person for 60 minutes. There is no couples-package upcharge; the bill is exactly two regular sessions.

Can we each pick a different service and pressure?

Yes. Each person chooses their own service and how firm they want it. One of you can have a relaxing Swedish session while the other has deep tissue.

Do we need to call ahead for the couples room?

Walk-in works any day, but the shared room is limited. On weekends — especially Friday and Saturday evenings — call 435-850-4772 first so we can make sure it is open when you arrive.
